Yield Results are in!

Wednesday, November 6th, 2013

It’s been a difficult growing season, but as harvest wraps up across the nation results with Bio-Forge ST, Bio-Forge and other crop performance products from StollerUSA are showing impressive yields.

Multiple trials from across the Corn Belt show 5-15 bushel per acre increases over untreated crops.

We want to hear from you! Share your story with us by emailing pictures and details to or posting to our Facebook page.

Be sure to include your name, the date(s) and rate(s) of each application of Bio-Forge ST and/or Bio-Forge along with the difference Bio-Forge made in your crops (i.e., faster emergence, healthier plants, tolerance to stress, more root structure, plants stay greener longer, more rows per ear, more pods, increased yield vs. check, etc.).

Check out the latest field report updates as we continue to share growers’ success.

Another Great Field Day in the Books

Thursday, September 5th, 2013

Following Farm Progress Show StollerUSA sales rep Jason Watson held a large field day at his farm to share ideas and knowledge about Stoller technology and what can be done to improve yields year after year. StollerUSA product development manager Dr. Marcus Jones and University of Illinois graduate student Ross Bender discussed the latest technology and importance of plant health to maximize yields.

After a short morning of presentations and questions the crew headed to the fields where test plots, equipment and product demonstrations were available for firsthand examination. Growers, dealers and third party organizations were in attendance to learn more about innovative technology from StollerUSA.

Field days and test plots are a great way to show the differences in plants and how Stoller technology works. Harvest is right around the corner and we’ll be sharing yield results from Watson and Sons Farms as well as other operations around the country. Continue to check back here or our Facebook page for the latest information and results.

One of the hottest weeks of the summer and of course it’s Farm Progress Show. Even with the high temperatures the show, this year in Decatur, Illinois, was a success for attendees, exhibitors and everyone who participated in this year’s event.

Winners at the StollerUSA Booth included growers from Illinois and Indiana. Congrats to Brenden Talmage and Jeremy Yoder for winning the Yeti coolers!

Attendees who stopped by the booth met with technical experts and saw firsthand how Bio-Forge and other StollerUSA products work as they examined corn and soybeans plants from Iowa and Illinois.

Crop Progress in Kansas

Thursday, August 22nd, 2013

The tour of grower visits continue as the StollerUSA crew headed to Western Kansas this week to visit with another innovative farmer near Montezuma. Josh Koehn runs 8,000 acres of corn, wheat and milo each year. Facing hot, dry weather seems to be the pattern over the last few years in Kansas. Combine that with high winds and the stage is set for more plant stress than most can handle.

After hearing a StollerUSA progressive grower speak two years ago about Bio-Forge®, Josh went to his dealer asking for help getting a StollerUSA program on his acres. Farming irrigated and dryland crops he was anxious to try something new in order to help minimize stress on his crops each summer.

In 2012 Josh set a record on his operation and won a National Corn Growers Association state contest with 306 bu/acre corn. This was also the first year he used Bio-Forge. In 2013 as we went to visit him the question arose about what he’s aiming for this year.

His reply, “350 bu/acre. I put Bio-Forge on every acre.”

It’s clear he’s setting his sights high, but with success like he’s having it’s a no brainer. Bio-Forge, X-Cyte and Sugar Mover have all been applied to his crops offering season long relief from high temperatures and something unfamiliar cold, wet springs. Usually little rain per season is an issue, but now it seems Western Kansas has had timely rain and crops are looking even better.

Tune in as Josh begins to harvest next month we’ll post yield results.
